Et voilà. It’s done. I quit. And yesterday was my last day in the office.
I’m leaving with no regrets whatsoever. However, I know I’ll miss my colleagues -especially one- whom I learnt a lot from (in many aspects) and really enjoyed working with. Knowing, from past experience, how it is like working with hypocrite and unwilling coworkers, I now seize better the value of evolving within a true team. That will have been my greatest luck for the past couple of months.
I’m leaving with some fun souvenirs:
- Laughter crisis, in order to release all the accumulated stress and tension;
- Covering up my colleague from our anorexia-type boss (who would make a scene if she saw anyone eating anything), so she could grab a fruit in the afternoon;
- Testing products to be launched in the bathroom, especially one: a disgusting and freaking crackeling mousse!
- Sleeping in the same bed as a colleague during a business trip in a castle, because the place was toooooo creepy.
Thank you C, N, R, V-A, F, A…Thank you all for the warm welcome you gave me from day 1.
I’m leaving with no fears either: seems I’ve won more determination on the way. I have now clear objectives – there are two things at least I’m looking forward to building up – and it’s up to me to make it happen.
Wish me luck!
