Are there any ideas, values, believes, visions, convictions on which you would (never) comprise?
Differently put, can you compromise on everything? To what extent? In which circumstances?

There are lots of things that I believe you should not compromise on, mostly relating to your values (ethics, morals, beliefs etc) because that is really who you are.
If you find that you are being asked – or required – to compromise those, then perhaps the person does not really value you.
Minor things – - compromise is essential in any healthy relationship but it has to go both ways (I give a little on this, you give a little on that). I think it should generally not be conditional as in “I’ll give a little on this IF you’ll give a little on that”.

Thank you R, for your comment, which I agree with. To me, indeed, there are things you can’t compromise about… I feel that by doing so – as far as core values are concerned of course – one renounces on who s/he is. And I don’t think it has to do with pride, lack of love, or stubbornness. Right?
